In response to Taiwan's growing pickleball craze, CMP Group recently opened two official-standard pickleball courts on the 15th-floor rooftop as a "sports-meets-lifestyle" extension of the adjacent Star Café and Star Hostel Taichung Park Lane. By reservation, courts can be booked online for one of three nightly two-hour sessions, with up to eight people per court (hostel guests can reserve to play for free 10 a.m.-3 p.m. daily). Café customers paying NT$250 can enjoy a court session and NT$150 credit at the cafe, offering spacious outdoor seating area and bar serving beer (NT$120-150), wine, four signature cocktails (NT$350-380), various classic cocktails, coffee, tea, juice, desserts and snack food, from hot dogs to dumplings. The cafe also regularly hosts "drink and play", DJ and other special events, allowing participants to exercise, socialize and have fun in relaxing surroundings with great views of the skyline. Pickleball gear is available for those without their own and Taichung Pickleball Association coaches are on hand from 6 p.m. to provide free advice to beginners.
因應台灣日益盛行的皮克球熱潮，勳美集團近日在誠品經閣道旁，誠星青年旅館與其附屬空間 Star Café 誠星天堂小酒館的延伸場域中，於15樓頂樓新設兩座符合正式比賽規格的皮克球場，打造結合運動與生活風格的全新休閒空間。球場採預約制，可線上預訂；每晚提供3個時段，每次2小時，每座球場最多可容納8人同時使用。誠星青年旅館住客可於每日上午10點至下午3點免費預約使用。
Star Café顧客只要消費250元，即可享有球場時段，並獲得150元小酒館消費抵用金。小酒館擁有寬敞的戶外座位區與吧台，提供啤酒（120-150元）、葡萄酒、4款招牌調酒（350-380元）、以及多款經典調酒；另有咖啡、茶飲、果汁、甜點與各式輕食，從熱狗到水餃一應俱全。此外，小酒館也不定期舉辦「邊喝邊打」、DJ表演及其他主題活動，讓參與者能在視野開闊、可俯瞰城市天際線的輕鬆氛圍中運動、社交並盡情享樂。現場亦提供皮克球球具租借。台中市皮克球協會的教練每天6pm起駐場，為初學者提供免費指導與講議。
