Taiwan's National Development Council recently opened an International Talent Taiwan Office in Taichung. Like similar northern and southern Taiwan offices, this serves as a one-stop hub for international professionals considering Taiwan or already living here, with the goal of making this nation feel more welcoming and livable for global talent and their families. Targeted at foreign professionals and white collar employees, and international students seeking jobs, the office helps answer questions about visas, employment, housing, banking, education, tax-related and similar topics. Free, one-on-one personalized consultations (starting in June) will cover topics like visa options, work permits, Employment Gold Card applications, and permanent residency (APRC) applications. In collaboration with tax and accounting firms, assistance with tax filing, company establishment and the hiring of foreigners can also be provided. Planned future events will include briefings on recent Foreign Professionals Act amendments, networking and community gatherings, and tax information sessions. 台灣國家發展委員會近日於台中設立「International Talent Taiwan Office（國際人才服務及延攬中心）中部服務辦公室」。與北部及南部的同類型辦公室相同，該據點作為一站式服務窗口，協助考慮來台發展，或已在台灣生活的國際專業人士，致力於建台灣成為對全球人才及其家庭更友善、更宜居的國家。
該辦公室主要服務對象為外籍專業人士、白領工作者，及在台求職的國際學生，協助解答簽證、就業、居住、銀行、教育、稅務等相關問題。自6月將提供免費一對一個別諮詢服務，內容涵蓋簽證選項、工作許可、就業金卡申請（Employment Gold Card），以及永久居留簽證（APRC）中請等。
此外，辦公室也將與稅務及會計事務所合作，提供報稅、公司設立及聘僱外籍人士等方面的協助。未來也將舉辦說明會，介紹《外國專業人才延攬及僱用法》最新修法內容、交流與社群聚會，以及稅務資訊講座。
