After success selling American-style desserts at their Half Half Cookies stall, sisters Moni and Saras have now opened this cozy, attractive Art Museum Parkway shop with inside and outside seating. Experienced baker Moni strives to make everything as authentically American and tasty as possible without being overly sweet. The resulting “comfort-food” desserts (dine-in or take-out) include nine kinds of soft-baked cookies (NT$20 each), including top-seller Double Chocolate, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip, Coconut Pecan Date, and Espresso, plus Almond Biscotti. Four cakes (NT$140/slice) include Oreo Cheesecake, Carrot Cake, and Raspberry Devil’s Food Cake. Other treats include muffins (NT$50), Red Velvet Cupcakes, Apple Pie (NT$85/slice) and savory items like Tomato Galette (pizza on a pie crust) and Southern Biscuits (NT$75 for 2), served with peach jam and honey butter Seasonal/special cake and pie flavors will be introduced in addition to soon-to-come homemade ice cream and ice cream sandwiches. Drinks include coffee, tea and customer-favorite Pink Lemonade (NT$55).
