Mr. & Mrs. Restaurant is run by a lovely young couple who enjoy Taichung’s sunny weather and relaxed pace of life. The international mix of hearty meal options includes rice, curry, stewed beef and pasta dishes (NT$220-380) made with seasonal ingredients. For an extra charge, diners can upgrade meals to add a naturally-flavored soup and drink, and the owners periodically create “secret menu” items for enjoyment. In keeping with their “farm-to-table” concepts, there are many vanilla plants around the premises and the owner plans to grow/raise their own vegetables and poultry.
